It may seem redundant to sing the praises of someone after both FluxBlog and Said The Gramophone already have, but I just had to. If, for some reason, you don't check those two sites much more often than you drop by here, I implore you to check out Casey Dienel. Sean (from StG) mentions Mirah, Sarah Harmer, Regina Spektor, and Feist in his description of Dienel's whimsical piano based tunes, and I'm not one to argue with that. I actually haven't heard the whole album, as I just found out about her a couple of days ago, but the five songs I have managed to track down are all winners. I'll be picking up the album very soon, I suggest you do too.
