Phantom Islands is a new monthly (the last Friday of every month) that starts this Friday at Hoko's. Organizer, Jarrett aims to book bands that wouldn't normally find themselves playing together, which should make for some eclectic bills, something I'm all for. To celebrate the first night, Hoko's is also offering 10% off food orders.
Gypsy Fade Wednesday is SWAK's new monthly, which showcases local acts on the last Wednesday of every month at Richard's.
