I'm sad to report that Paul Cannell, the artist behind the covers of Primal Scream's Screamadelica and Manic Street Preachers' You Love Us has passed away. (from Drowned in Sound)
The Sigur Ros album has a title and a release date. The band will release Takk in North America on September 13th.

Aahhh! I stop checking Ticketmaster for just a few days, and when I go back I discover that the Sigur Ros tickets have already gone on sale! Ah well, last time I saw them was from the balcony and it seemed to be the most perfect seat in the house, so I'm sure it will be fine this time around.
I can't find confirmation of the Franz Ferdinand show anywhere else on the internet; in particular, not on their website.
